Electric Motor Repair
When your motor fails or needs a fix, we take care of it. In fact, it’s our specialty. We do AC rewinds and DC cleanup, random and form wound coil motors, and even motor redesigns to upgrade horsepower, speed, or voltage change on an existing unit.
Regenerative Load Testing
As part of our rigorous quality control process, we load test our motor repairs using the latest state-of-the-art technology. In our shop, that means load testing on our regenerative dynamometer, which can produce up to 87% of the power we need to run the motor under load, reducing waste and returning clean electricity back to the power grid.

Machining & Milling
We have full machine shop capabilities to take on all your specialized machining jobs: turning, drilling, boring, and milling.
We have access to a CNC Milling Center with 4th axis, CNC and manual lathe turning and a horizontal boring mill. We also have a FARO arm to ensure proper measurement of bearing housing alignment, and a high-quality precise fit for our repair.
Whether it’s simple or complex projects, we can do them all. We can fabricate internal and external splines, and even custom make metal parts and components that can be expensive and difficult to find.
Balancing
We also do in-house dynamic balancing on rotating components in motors, like fans, rotors, armatures, and impellers – up to 40,000 lbs. We can multiplane balance with in-house and fixed bearing capabilities, always with high exacting ISO tolerance standards.

Welding & Fabrication
If you have a welding or metal fabrication need, we can do it – whether it’s steel, stainless steel, cast iron, or aluminum, tubing bar, checker plate, mesh, we can weld and fabricate it.
We use the finest equipment to torch cut, M.I.G., T.I.G., and stick weld, and stress-relieve in our oven to make sure it turns out just like you planned it.

Predictive maintenance and diagnostics
It’s often said that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure – that’s true as ever in maintaining electric motors. Predictive maintenance can save you thousands in downtime and repair costs.
We can help diagnose an issue and test on-site, conducting laser alignment and vibration analysis to get the real story on what might be happening before it becomes a big problem. Even balancing, cutting and welding can occasionally be done on-site.
When diagnosing on-site isn’t practical, we can pickup and deliver your motor or equipment to our shop, where we have the full set of hands and tools at our disposal to tackle the job.
New Motor Sales
We’re one of the highest volume distributors of new WEG motors in Canada. With a large in-house inventory of WEG motors, accessories, and drives, if we don’t have it, we can get it. And if you need another brand or make of motor, we can get that too.
We sell Single Phase and 3 Phase motors, in a wide variety of voltages, as well as custom designed and fabricated motors for mining and industrial applications.
Some of the new electric motor solutions we’ve sold, designed, and commissioned from our facility in Saskatoon have been used in the largest and most advanced mining machines in all of western Canada.
